Grant Thornton Isle of Man to sponsor Douglas Fireworks display on Bonfire Night 2025

Grant Thornton Isle of Man is delighted to support Douglas City Council as the principal sponsor of this year’s Douglas Bonfire Night fireworks display, taking place on November 5th.

Douglas City Council recently confirmed the return of the much-loved Bonfire Night fireworks display this November which brings the community together for an evening of celebration and fun. After the success of previous years, the free event will once again light up the skies over Douglas in a spectacular show for people of all ages to enjoy.

Speaking about the announcement, Simon Nicholas, Partner at Grant Thornton Isle of Man, said:

“Bonfire Night is one of those occasions that everyone looks forward to, and it’s fantastic to see it back. We’re proud to support it, especially at a time when Grant Thornton is starting a new chapter and growing here on the Island. We want people to know we’re here with a bang, and that we’re ready to make a positive difference.”

Councillor Natalie Byron-Teare, Chair of the Regeneration and Community Committee, added:

“The Bonfire Night fireworks display has become a much-anticipated highlight of the year for families and friends across the Island. We’re thrilled to bring it back for 2025, and we’re especially grateful to Grant Thornton for joining us as the new principal sponsor. Their support helps keep this wonderful community event alive and thriving.”

Residents and visitors alike will be welcomed to enjoy the magic of the night, with more details on timings and entertainment to be announced soon by the Council.
