Ian joined Grant Thornton in 2005 as Director operating within the Leeds office of Grant Thornton UK. He is in the process of relocating to the Isle of Man to lead the Grant Thornton Isle of Man Insolvency offering. Prior to this he held roles in both Business Recovery and in industry in New Zealand & Australia. He is a qualified Insolvency Practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in business recovery and insolvency.
Ian has a principal focus on fraud insolvency and asset recovery for a wide variety of creditors including HMRC, financial institutions and commercial organisations. Other experience includes going & gone concern business and asset sales, outsourced bank portfolio realisation, and financial viability investigation & turnaround.
