Our tax team is made up of highly experienced professionals who work with our clients to ensure they are compliant with all aspects of their corporation tax obligations by gaining a deep understanding of the businesses.

Experience

Jon is an Associate Director in Grant Thornton Isle of Man’s Advisory Department, which he joined in 2020. This department offers multi-disciplinary skills to our island based and overseas clients and deals with financial services and non- financial services clients alike. The department services include centralized offerings around financial reporting, project management, statutory accounting, internal audit and regulatory and corporate compliance, as well as resourcing for surge requirements and specific projects.

Jon is very experienced in co-ordinating international teams, with particular regard to multi location AML/CFT projects and has worked in the Isle of Man, UK and Ireland on large, complex assignments. He works closely with all the major Grant Thornton member firms across the world and is involved in some of the firm’s largest and complex multi jurisdictional projects. Jon has PRINCE2 Project Management accreditation.

Jon’s clients include banks, insurance companies, fund administration companies, the Isle of Man Government and a number of privately owned businesses.

Outside Grant Thornton Jon is a high level hockey coach, and also enjoys driving far too quickly around the derestricted roads of the Isle of Man.
